Hyundai Matrix

Hyundai Matrix is designed on the basis of the first wagon Lantra III by Hyundai Motor Company. However, the body of the model has undergone pretty strong changes. Hyundai Matrix is considered as the second minivan of the company (the first was Trajet) and first compact van, in particular. The first debut was held in Asia under the name of Hyundai Lavita and then in Europe in 2001 but with the name of Hyundai Matrix. The modification presented for European market was powered by more powerful engine than Hyundai Lavita's volume of 1.5-liter capacity of 100 HP.
While creating Hyundai Matrix, experts first concentrated on the features such as being comfortable and convenient. It is ideal car for family trips as well as business trips. Competitive advantage of Hyundai Matrix could be good maneuverability in the city with small dimensions (height - 1635 mm, length - 4025 mm) but the model surprises passengers with its spacious interior.
Saloon transformation allows you to completely fold the rear seats and get single, smooth surface, which is very convenient in transportation of goods. The rear door opens up traditionally. Despite the short overhang, trunk volume of Hyundai Matrix large enough where placed full-size spare wheel under its floor. The cabin provides variety of convenient storage places. Two niches on the side walls and under the rear seats, there are come places for instruments. Under the front seat, there is a place for shoes and the backs of the front seats could be folded to be a table for rear passengers. Also, there are many small containers on the front panel and about 12 Cup holders throughout the cabin.
