Hyundai Santa Fe

World debut of popular Hyundai SUV - Hyundai Santa Fe for the first time took place in 1999. The name of the car was taken from one of the ski resorts in the United States. The main purpose of Hyundai Santa Fe was intended for large family trips. The saloon of Hyundai Santa Fe is five-door model with capacity of five to seven passengers. According to developers, all modifications of this car perfectly combines various properties, taken from three different classes of vehicles. Technical specifications of comfort and manageability are similar to passenger cars.
Initially, powertrain lineup of Hyundai Santa Fe was represented by two gasoline engines of the transverse positions: 2-liter inline 4-cylinder engine rated at 136 HP and 2.7 liter V6 motor power of 179-horsepower. The first engine has worked exclusively in tandem with manual transmission which is front-wheel-drive. More powerful motor could be 4x4 modification that works with automatic transmission. Later, powertrains has been completed with petrol 4-cylinder 16-valve engine volume of 2.4 liter capacity of 150 HP. Saloon of Hyundai Santa Fe is quite spacious, most importantly passengers clearly won't feel lack of space. If you fold the backrest of all seats, you get an excellent broad surface. The instrument panel includes: tachometer, temperature and fuel sensors, electronic clock and odometer.
Presentation of the second generation of Hyundai Santa Fe was held in 2007. The main advantages of restyled model could be controlled adaptive suspensions, smoothness, reduced noise and vibration. In addition, according to specialists of Hyundai Motors, Hyundai Santa Fe model may also be used as a multi-purpose vehicle, because if necessary, couple of extra seats can be installed on the trunk. Engine volume of the SUV does not differ from the capacity of Hyundai Santamo. The volume of the main modification's motor is 2.7 liters, accelerates to 100 km/h in 10.3 seconds. Thus, all the technical characteristics of the vehicle are at a decent level, not only as a SUV, but as passenger car.
