The base car of Volkswagen Caddy is equipped with 1.2 and 1.4 liter petrol engines, other versions may be equipped with a 1.6 liter unit. Also, the Caddy has two diesel engines in volume of 1.9 and 2.0 liters (two versions) with the injection Common Rail, and the 2.0 liter unit Eco Fuel, running on natural gas. In a couple of them are 5-or 6-step mechanics or 6-speed robotized transmission DSG. Also optional car can be equipped with permanent all-wheel drive 4MOTION.
