BMW Z4 is a two-seater convertible roadster created to replace BMW Z3. Compared to its predecessor, BMW Z4 is slightly grew in all directions. Like its predecessor, BMW Z4 is produced in the United States at a plant in Spartanburg. The roadster went on sale in the United States in October 2002 and started its sale in Europe in March 2003. BMW Z4 Coupe received a triplex roof folded into the trunk and also, BMW Z4 convertible could boast of its elegant, soft, multilayered roof. Five modifications of BMW Z4 are offered for consumers with different engines, including one which was able to win the title of "Engine of the Year 2009" in its volume. In fact, BMW Z4 is the brightest representative of German brand.
When you activate "Sport" mode offeres dynamic traffic management system Dynamic Driving Control as an option enables you increase effectiveness of the engine to even higher level. There are BMW Z4 3.0i version (170 kW / 231 HP / maximum speed - 250 km/h) as well as BMW Z4 2.5i (141 kW / 192 HP / 235 km/h). BMW Z4 3.0i equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox while BMW Z4 2.5i 5-speed manual and 5-speed automatic transmission could be installed as optional equipment. BMW Z4 Sport has very stiff suspension. Bass of six speakers makes great sound even when roof is opened. If the voice of the motor was slightly louder, you would call it intrusive. A trip of "comfortable" version makes more pleasant emotions. In addition, there is 16-inch wheels instead of 17-inch, without "sport" button. Such model is more quiet.
